I got Office 2007 installed on Astrid tonight and it went much easier than last time. No hassles with the product key or activation. Awesome.

Supper at Los Cocos was delicious and then we came home and both took a nap. Well, it was supposed to be a nap, but I think a certain someone who is still asleep needed more sleep than that. So here I am studying Econ II all by myself. Pie is with me, but he's got his paw over his face and I think he may be snoring, so I don't think that really counts.

We watched the video that I took during our last viewing of The House. It's really not that photogenic of a place, but in person I think it's got some charm. I'm hoping to hear something about the inspection scheduling tomorrow.

We need to think of a name for the place. I have always loved how manor houses have their own names. Normally this is the sort of thing I'd ask for suggestions on, or perhaps take a poll of some choices, but the last time I fielded name suggestions I ended up with a dragon named Sanchez, The Mexican Wetback. So you can see why I might not be doing that for this place which may end up being our home for quite some time.

Pres Man asked me today if I would be ready to host Christmas for my family. o_O I really do not think so. But it was a nice thought.

My sore throat is mostly gone today. Yay! I fought something off without getting really sickly! That's kind of amazing.

I am feeling a little less calm now than I was earlier, but I think that is Econ test anxiety and also it's a side effect of looking around my house and seeing all the stuff we have. I've gotten some very good suggestions on packing and moving already, and hopefully I can stick to those. I am resolved to carefully label each box that I pack with a taped-on inventory list and a destination room. We will see how long that will last, but the boxes that I do get done this way will probably be a lot more pleasant to deal with later on.

I think I solved Astrid's printing problems tonight, which will make the whole thing a lot easier (I like typing SO much more than writing). I didn't have her on the home network. I mean, she was on the wireless, but not the workgroup. So now she is, and I printed a test page and everything. I hope that continues to work, because that's something that has been a bit of a hindrance.

And this last is to my body.

Dear Body,

I have given you over 114 ounces of water today. Why do you insist that you are dehydrated?

Hoping we can work on our communication,

Me
