Here is a small picture of Piewacket helping me knit during the game.



This is his job whenever I am knitting. He will come from wherever he is and plop down on my knitting bag or on top of my yarn, and he will gain about 15 pounds immediately, making it very hard to move him.

Sometimes he will look very smug and pleased with himself, and other times he gets this long-suffering look as if he is tired of doing this job, but dangit he is going to do it, because he is the only one who can.

It's like he's Sigourney Weaver in Galaxy Quest. "I have one job here and it's stupid, but I'm going to do it."

Dear Old Spice,

I love your new commercials. Really. Especially this one:

I will turn the TV up when this commercial comes on. I will give it my undivided attention and I will even look it up online to watch it again.

I wish I could reward you for such clever and entertaining advertising by purchasing your product, but alas it is not to be. You see, my father was an Old Spice devotee for all the time that I knew him. Okay, he occasionally strayed to English Leather or British Sterling, but mostly it was Old Spice. Your signature scent makes me think of my father. So no, I do not want my man to smell like the man in your commercials.

But keep up the good work. Maybe I could send some to my brothers-in-law.
