I heard a song at Chili's today and thought, "Hey, that sounds a lot like Fleetwood Mac! But I've never heard this song before, and it doesn't sound exactly like them. Maybe another group is developing a similar sound!"

I was very excited about it and listened as closely as I could so that I could look up the lyrics when I got home.

I feel simultaneously proud of my ear and disappointed; the song is "Loves Runs Deeper" by Linsey Buckingham, who is a member of Fleetwood Mac.

Well you came to me you cooled my mind
The stakes were high impossible to describe
I loved you little child how you mystified
Just blinding flash we were parallel lines
Loves runs deeper from the underground
Love runs deeper from a broken home
Black angel can't be alone
Love runs deeper from the underground
In the shadow moon steal tears I cried
You were out of tune it seemd to suit my dark side
You had a prophet's pose and two states of mind
I was sure I'd go we were parallel lines
Love runs deeper from the underground
Love runs deeper from a broken home
Black angel can't be alone
Love runs deeper from the underground
Love runs deeper from the underground
Love runs deeper from a broken home
Black angel can't be alone
Love runs deeper from the underground

The lyrics are not that remarkable but I like that his wife helped write them.
