Today I got off early as I had extra time, and as soon as I got home I immediately checked the mailbox. According to the USPS site, my Etsy stuff was supposed to arrive today!

There was nothing in the mailbox, which NEVER happens, so I knew I had beaten the delivery. I waited for the mailman to show up and when he did I nearly tore the stuff out of his hands.

And there was no package. *single tear*

But then he came back! He told me that he thought to himself "She was obviously waiting for something...." so he rechecked his bag and he found my package! YAY!

And here is what I got!







I'm really happy with everything. I don't think I necessarily need the lighthouses or the boats, but they came in a pack with the wheels and anchors and it was cheaper that way.

Now to measure my hat and hopefully find some awesome trim.

I am kind of worried that it will never be finished. That I'll just keep buying stuff and hoping it will magically combine into something steampunk-ish. lol

I hope that was it. I don't enjoy the idea of a postman who habitually doesn't give me my packages on the day they're supposed to be delivered!
